Event: Intel® Edison™ Meetup - Toronto

Venue Location: Project: SPACES OWL (20 Camden St., Suite 200, Toronto, ON M5V1V1)

Date: Nov. 3, 2015 6:30PM to 9:30PM

The Intel® IoT Roadshow is continuing its 2015 global series by making a stop in Toronto in November. To help developers get ready for the 2-day IoT hackathon and come out on top, there will be a pre-hackathon meetup on November 3rd at Project: Spaces OWL.

At the meetup, Intel engineers will be showing attendees how to setup the Edison™ board and give you all the resources that you might need to design your winning projects. Come and get a head start by familiarizing yourself with the Edison™ Developer Kit, pitch your IoT ideas, meet like-minded developers and lock down the best team for the hackathon!

The event is FREE. Register here: http://bit.ly/torontoedisonmeetup

The Intel® Edison development board brings hardware projects unparalleled performance in a small, low power form factor ideal for IoT and connected devices. It is the first in a series of low-cost, product-ready, general purpose compute platforms that help lower the barriers to entry for entrepreneurs of all sizes - from pro makers to consumer electronics and companies working in the Internet of Things (IoT). The Intel Edison development platform packs a robust set of features into its small size, delivering great performance, durability, and a broad spectrum of I/O and software support. Check out some of the projects on Instructables by searching #IntelMaker!

The Intel® IoT Hackathon will take place on Nov. 21-22 at Project: SPACES OWL. Registration is open and the first 100 registered attendeeswill get a FREE Intel® Edison™ Board. So the first thing is to register and then arrive early on November 21.
