Think of the experience as a cross between a short film, or sometimes a walking simulator, and a theme park ride. You will be seated in a rotating chair and wear a head-mounted display and headphones.

The Festival will be running Sept 19th - 20th, 2015, between 11:00am to 7:00pm each day at 77 Peter Street.  More details about individual Virtual Reality stories can be found at our primary site FIVARS.net  Due to the nature of the venue and content, you must be 19+ years old to attend this event and sign a waiver.

FIVARS, focuses primarily on the new modes of storytelling that is evolving and developing even as we build this Festival. There is no one solution to great story telling in Virtual Reality. We have chosen a selection of the greatest examples, ranging from the longest up to 15 minutes, to the shortest delivering a very impactful 2 mins, for your viewing pleasure. The full list can be viewed on FIVARS.net.

Building your own personalized program at the event you can choose from artistic, narrative, animated, interactive, intense or even horror based experiences, mixing and matching to your preference.

With your ticket, you can choose from a variety of Virtual Reality story telling experiences up to 30 minutes long per ticket. Advance ticket sales @ $10 will finish Sept 16th, 2015. There will be a ticket rushline at the door and we will try to accommodate as many as possible but not guaranteed. Tickets at the door will be $15 only upon successful admission.
Day 1 and Day 2 of the event will carry the same content. There are over 75 minutes of Virtual Reality story content available for viewing. Viewers may choose to purchase more than one ticket or a ticket for each day and will still find new experiences to enjoy.
