Well what do we have here? We Are Wearables Toronto featured in the same segment as a CES fashion show and the official launch of Will.i.am's PULS to illustrate wearables new focus on fashion!
CTV News aired a "Webmania" story illustrating how the industry has taken a new fashionable approach to device creation. The clip begins with featuring a fashion show which took place at CES in Las Vegas this January which saw connected looks by Toronto-based MeU walk down the runway. It moves on to showcase an interview with pop culture phenom Will.i.am as he shows off his first wearable PULS. CTV then turns its lens on Toronto or specifically to the MaRS Discovery District Centre where the February We Are Wearables Toronto event highlighted smart jewelry including the world's first smart earring Ear-o-Smart.
